Monsoon Hair Care

Though monsoon brings respite from summer heat but it comes with its own problems of hair fall but efficient hair care is the only solution. Moreover, many hair treatments are designed to empty your pocket. You can switch to natural remedies for no side effects. All you need is to follow the OMS (oil, mask & serum ) procedure.

Firstly, oiling is a step in hair care that one should never take for granted. Secondly, when you apply a natural hair mask it gives you the nourishment that makes your scalp healthy. Thirdly, apply a hair serum to give that lustre to your hair. Follow the natural DIY hair oil, hair mask and hair serum for a celebrity like hair.

DIY Oil for Monsoon Hair Care

Oil could be the prime reason for your hair fall and its poor quality. So, it is necessary to apply a hair oil that will nourish your hair follicle.

Ingredients for DIY hair oil:

1 small bottle of mustard oil

20 curry leaves

20 neem leaves.

Fenugreek seeds 2 spoons.

Procedure for DIY hair Oil:

Put all the ingredients in a glass jar, cover the mouth of the jar with a thin muslin cloth and leave it in the sun for 15 to 20 days. Strain the mixture in another glass bottle and your DIY hair oil is ready. Apply this oil on your scalp with your finger tips in circular motion and work it to the tips of your hair. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then apply our DIY hair mask.

DIY monsoon hair mask

This mask has magical benefits and should be used once a week. For badly damaged hair it can be used twice a week. Most importantly, a good hair care regime can give you Rapunzel-like hair.

Ingredients for hair mask:

Curd 250 grams

Amla powder 2 spoons

Curry leaf powder 2 spoons

Neem leaf powder 2 spoons

Procedure for DIY hair mask:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, curd is the king in here, it directly feeds protein to the hair. Apply the mask from scalp to the tips of your hair. Leave it for half an hour and rinse it off with luke-warm water. You are ready for compliments and head turns.

Monsoon hair serum

To finish off apply our DIY hair serum on moist hair after removing the hair mask.

Ingredients for hair serum

Aloe vera juice 10 spoons

Glycerine 2 spoons

Vitamin E capsule 1


Pour aloe vera juice and glycerine in a spray bottle and squeeze a vitamin E capsule in the bottle. Put the spray cap. Your serum is ready. Spray four to five times all over your hair and with a gentle two-minute massage spread it evenly. Store the mixture in the refrigerator. Shake the bottle well before use.
