“Happiest are those who do the most for others” With a head full of curiosity and a heart full of empathy, Isha Makhijani, an MBA undergraduate from Institute of Management Research & Technology has not only been a brighter prospect in the sphere of academics but also has extended her wings in the field of social service.
Isha, has been volunteering for the largest, youth led philanthropic initiative of Lucknow run by a group of young and dynamic minds across the city. The foundation has been working to serve the underprivileged population through various campaigns run by them.
She has been an active participant in various initiatives of the foundation including feeding 50,000 people during COVID-19 lockdown, providing ration to 15,000 underprivileged families, feeding stray dogs, teaching children living in slums, providing sanitary pads to women of the section of the society with no means or access to such necessities and creating awareness among them of their rights. Apart from this, she had also volunteered in the plantation drive undertaken by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to plant 25 crore saplings during the plantation week that took place in Lucknow.
Along with being an altruistic person, Isha has participated in International Models United Nations and has also been a winning speaker at various events. Though she aspires to touch heights in the corporate world she wants to continue spreading smiles and envisions to bring a positive change in the society.
